What Is 3105 Aluminium spoel?
3105 aluminum coil is a 3000 series aluminum alloy: the main alloying addition is manganese, which is formulated for primary forming into forged products. It has good rust resistance, excellent weldability, and good electrical conductivity. The conductivity can reach 41%.
Price of 3105 Aluminium spoel
This aluminum metal has excellent formability and weldability, but does not respond to heat treatment. 3000 series aluminum metal is 20% stronger than 1000 series metal.
It is stronger than 1000 series alloys, but its price is almost the same as 1000 series alloys, so it is widely used in making roofing.
In the European standard, we name it EN AW-3105. Also, the UNS number is A93105.

3105 Alloy Aluminum Coil Features
- Has excellent resistance to correction, formability, and welding characteristics.
- Has average machinability. However, the machinability is improved in the harder tempered condition compared to the annealed condition.
- Except for annealing during cold working, there is no reaction to heat treatment. Cold work properties are very good, even in the harder cold work condition.
Is 3105 Aluminum Bendable?
For annealed H12, H14, and H16 tempers, a bend radius in the thickness range of 1 to 2 t is recommended. H18 tempering should use a bend radius of 2 to 7 t.
What Is The Difference Between 3105 H24 And 3003H14?
The differences between 303H14 and 3105 H24 are as follows:
One of these is Brinell hardness; 3003 H14 has 42 BHN and 3105 H24 has 47 BHN.
Another difference is fatigue strength; 3003 H14 is only 60 MPa, while 3105 H24 is 74 MPa.
3105 H24 vs 3003H14 aluminum alloy
In the alloy composition, 3003 H14 contains more magnesium than 3105 H24. But 3105 H24 contains a small amount of titanium, chromium and copper that 3003 H14 does not have.
Application of 3105 Alloy Metal Aluminum Coil
- Aluminum 3105 is most commonly used where paint is required;
- Typical applications include more general sheet metal work required;
- Higher strength than 1000 series aluminum alloys, residential siding;
- Room dividers, baffles, mobile homes, rain gear, and sign making.
